TUESDAY 24HR MAX OF 37F RECORDED AT 12:00 AM,
TRACE OF FROZEN PRECIP COMES IN AFTERNOON
Yesterday’s temperatures seemed to mimic the roller coaster
of weather observed in the region recently, with a maximum
of 37F recorded at midnight in the morning, with temperatures
falling during the afternoon, then climbing once more in
the evening.
This morning a maximum of 42F was recorded before temperatures
fell once more to 35F for the 7:00 AM EST observation. Light
drizzle and thick fog was present as well, with visibility
reduced to 1/16 of a mile and only 200 feet of vertical
visibility. 0.33 inches of liquid was recorded by the 7:00
AM EST observation as well, with light drizzle present.
An additional 0.02 inches of precipitation fell between 7:00 AM
and 1:00 PM EST with temperatures rising through the 40s.
A maximum of 47F was recorded by the 1:00 PM EST observation.
