SNOW ENDS THEN RESUMES OVERNIGHT, 6.4 INCHES
BY 1:00 PM EST

Snow that began yesterday morning, came to an end
late in the afternoon, before resuming once more
overnight. By the 7:00 PM EST observation 5.0 inches
had fallen in the previous 24 hours. Snow became
much lighter over much of the morning, adding another
0.6 inches by the 10:00 AM EST observation.
Temperatures have held steady since yesterday
afternoon in the 20s with occasionally thick
fog.

By the 1:00 PM EST observation an additional
0.8 inches of snow had fallen, totaling 6.4 inches
for a storm total so far. A maximum of 29F was read
at the 10:00 AM EST observation and had since
fallen to 26F by 1:00 PM. Winds had increased and
were routinely gusting into the 20 knot range,
allowing some snow to drift on the summit.
