BUILDING CUMULUS THIS AFTERNOON WITH SHOWERS IN THE AREA…
The overnight low of 66F was the highest since early August
as heat and humidity move back into New England today. The
maximum temperature today has reached 89F by early afternoon,
which matches the warmest temperature for this month recorded
back on August 3rd. Moderate cumulus surround the station as
building clouds have started generating a few showers and
thundershowers in Southern New England this afternoon.
