BEAUTIFUL LATE SUMMER DAY…
Much drier air has moved into New England today, and the
low temperature dropped to 55F this morning, the lowest of
the month so far. With dew points dropping to the low 40s, the
temperature fell to a low of 43F at nearby Norwood Airport
this morning. The sky was completely free of clouds early
today, though a haze layer aloft has filtered the sun somewhat
all day. A few cumulus clouds that began to form by late
morning are still just scattered at mid-afternoon. The
visibility has been very good today near 70 miles, and the
wind has remained generally light.
