COOL, CALM CONDITIONS ON TOP OF GREAT BLUE HILL…
The high temperature so far today is 40F, which is 9
degrees lower than our normal maximum temperature of 49F.
Winds have remained calm for a majority of the day, only
occasionally gusting to or above 10 knots, and only before 3
A.M. Our peak wind speed so far today is 16 knots recorded by
our 420C anemometer at 12:20 A.M. Our low since midnight was
30F at around 4 this morning, which is 3 degrees below our
normal minimum temperature of 33F. Only one inch of snow
remained today from Thursday night’s storm that accumulated
8 inches of snow overall. Cloudy conditions persisted through
each observation from 7 A.M. to 1 P.M., however, visibility has
remained at a good 80 miles all day.
