MUCH COOLER THAN NORMAL FOLLOWING LAST NIGHT’S
RAIN….
We measured 1.52 inches from the storms that
began yesterday afternoon at 7 A.M. We then
measured an additional 0.56 inches that fell
between then and the 1 P.M. observation. This
brings our monthly rain total up to 4.33 inches.
Fog limited visibility to a 1/2 mile this morning,
but dissipated as the day went on. About 35 miles
were seen in the afternoon hours. Temperatures
today are notably below normal so far today. The
low since midnight is 58F, 5 degrees below the
daily normal minimum of 63F. The highest temperature
measured at this point is 63F, which is the same as
the normal daily minimum! The record low maximum for
this date is 62F, set in 1904.
