MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2020
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

FINALLY, A SOAKING RAINFALL ACROSS THE AREA!…

We’ve longed to say it, and we finally can, today has
been a wet day! Rain started shortly after 2:30 A.M.
this morning and has continued at varying rates through
the day. At times its just a light drizzle while at other
times we get a bit of a downpour. All in all it’s the
perfect kind of rain where it comes somewhat slow and
steady, which allows it to soak in nicely.

Through 1 P.M. this afternoon we’ve measured a total of
0.79″. With some heavier elements having moved through
since the observation, we’ve likely approached, if not
exceeded an inch since then. A good soaking that is
much needed!

It has also been breezy most of the day with a gradually
backing wind from east this morning to northeast this
afternoon. The peak gust for the day thus far is 32 mph.

The high so far today is 57, 4 degrees below the daily
normal of 61F. The low since midnight is 50F, which is
6 degrees above the normal low of 44F.
