ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
A SOGGY AND DREARY FRIDAY ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL….
The warm September vibes have officially come to an end!
After setting 5 record highs and 1 record high minimum
in the past 7 days(!), we bottomed out at 43F this morning
– only rising to 48F by early afternoon thanks to a
persistent onshore flow. Winds have peaked so far at
22 MPH from the ENE.
The other story is the fog and rain. The summit has
been socked in fog all day with visibility averaging
1/8 of a mile. Intermittent showers continue to roll
through with meager amounts. Our 24-hour total ending
at 7E this morning registered just 0.06 inches. Since
then, only 0.10 inches of rain have fallen.
The high so far today is 48F, 3F below the daily normal
high of 51F. The low since midnight is 43F, 9F above the
normal low of 34.
