Today is very hot and humid with dew points hanging in the low 70’s.
Hiking today is not recommended, and a heat advisory was given
out by the National Weather Service for most of the region until
this Friday. Visibility was limited to around 30 miles for most of
the day, with a max of 45 miles being seen at the 1 P.M. observation.
A very warm southwesterly breeze has been a factor most of the day,
