CLEAR SKIES TO END TODAY AS THE MERCURY BEGINS TO CLIMB

Following multiple below normal temperature days, today
looks to be on track to meet or exceed today’s daily
normal temperatures. Today’s normal maximum is 47F and
minimum 30F. This morning’s overnight low of 25F did not
last for long, as the mercury jumped 6 degrees during
sunrise. Winds have remained light and even completely
calm at times.

By the 1:00 PM EST observation cirrus had overspread the
region, with light distant haze in all directions. With
the thin cloud cover, snow melt has continued through
this morning into early afternoon, as temperatures
have climbed to a maximum of 48F so far.
