FAIR WEATHER WITH LOW HUMIDITY AND EXCELLENT
VISIBILITY….

We observed an excellent visibility of 85 miles throughout
the day. Wind shifted from north to northwest, blowing
at an average of 10 mph. The highest gust so far today is
20 mph. Conditions both at the surface and aloft have dried out
further since yesterday, with a humidity of 18% being observed
at 1 P.M. Cloud cover has remained almost negligible, with a
few cirrus to the south and east of the observatory. We have
reached a high of 42F so far today, 6 degrees below the daily
normal maximum of 48F. The low since midnight is 27F, 3 degrees
below the normal minimum of 30F.
