TEMPS STUCK NEAR 50F OVERNIGHT, RAIN MOVES IN
AND ABOVE NORMAL WARMTH CONTINUES

Warm air has arrived once again from the SW, with temperatures
only dipping to 48F overnight. Yesterday’s average temperature
of 41F created another departure in the double digits above
normal at +11.

Rain began this morning in rounds by the 7:00 AM EST observation,
totaling 0.17 inches by the 1:00 PM EST observation. Fog became
thick as well, reducing visibility to 3/4 of a mile with 300 feet
of vertical visibility. Temperatures had reached a maximum reading
of 55F by that time as well.

So far this season, there has been no measurable snow on Blue Hill.
This season is now tied for the fourth latest on record for the first
occurrence of measurable snowfall with no snow likely over the next week.
