WARM, DRY START TO NOVEMBER CONTINUES AS TEMPERATURES
CLIMB INTO THE 70S TODAY

A warm front dragged through the region overnight, bringing
damp, foggy and warm conditions. Temperatures dropped to a
seasonably warm 51F overnight, with dense fog early this
morning. Skies cleared during the 7:00 AM EST observation,
and by 10:00 AM EST temperatures had reached the mid 60s.

By the 1:00 PM EST observation temperatures had climbed
to a maximum of 72F, just 4 degree shy of today’s daily
record of 76F set back in 1994. Altocumulus was becoming
more overspread, creating mostly cloudy conditions.
