CLOUDS FINALLY GIVING WAY TO SUNSHINE, VERY MILD TEMPERATURES….

An abundance of cloud cover this morning is finally giving
way to increasing sunshine early this afternoon. Temperatures
are responding accordingly pushing into the low 60s by the
1 P.M. observation.

Visibility has been limited to 25 miles or less today, first
in fog early this morning, and later due to thin haze.

Dry conditions continue to be the theme as we’ve had no
measurable precipitation since back on the 1st of the month.
The monthly total stands at 0.13″, which is 1.61″ below normal.
The yearly total is 8.13″ which is 2.03″ below normal to date.

The record high for today here at Blue Hill is 65 degrees
set back in 1967. Looks like we’ll likely beat it this
afternoon, stay tuned!

The high so far today is 61F, 18 degrees above the daily
normal max of 43F. The low since midnight is 35F, 10 degrees
above the daily average low of 25F.
