MAINLY SUNNY AND A BIT COOLER TODAY WITH A BRISK WIND….
A weak boundary passed through the area last evening from north
to south bringing a band of snow with it. 0.2″ of snow was
measured here on the Hill. Following this boundary, a gusty
northwest flow took over along with cooler temperatures.
Today featured some cloud cover early this morning, but these
moved out leaving us with a decent amount of sunshine for the
balance of the day.
Temperatures are a bit cooler than yesterday, but nothing too
cold, especially compared to recent weeks. Redings have reached
the mid 30s by early this afternoon which is seasonable for this
time of year. Dew points have been generally in the mid teens
for the day.
Winds have been blustery today with a northwest flow averaging
at around 14mph for the day. While we’re still seeing gusts
exceeding 20mph, the strongest gusts occurred overnight. The
peak gust for today so far is 38mph, which occurred just before
12:30am this morning.
Visibility has been decent today with a view of around 60-70
miles all day.
The maximum temperature so far today is 36F degrees, which is
equal to the normal high of 36F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 21F degrees, which is 2 degrees above the normal
low of 19F.
