SKY CLEARS AFTER MORNING FLURRIES…

This morning began with light snow flurries
which only left a dusting of snow on top of
Great Blue Hill. Temperatures continue to be
below seasonable today with a high of 27F by
1:00 P.M. This is 13 degrees below the normal
of 40F. We observed yesterday’s max temperature
of 31F at midnight. The daytime high was 22F,
18 degrees below the daily normal. Wind from
the WNW was light in the morning but has begun
picking up this afternoon with a peak gust of
26 kts (30 MPH). Visibility greatly increased
throughout the day from 15 miles at 7:00 AM
to 80 miles by 10:00 AM.
