MUCH COOLER WITH INCREASING CLOUDINESS….
We observed mostly clear skies today, with a light and cool
northerly breeze. Visibility was 80 miles and conditions
were cool and dry. There was a smoke plume to the south,
most likely a brush fire considering the drought we’ve been
in lately. We are approaching severe drought status, following
a very dry October!
The maximum temperature so far today is 48F, which is 7 degrees
lower than the normal high of 55F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 30F, which is 8 degrees below the normal low of 38F.
