LIGHT RAIN ENDED EARLY LAST EVENING AFTER 0.19 INCH IN ALL
DAY LIGHT RAIN…FROST EARLY THIS MORNING COVERED THE GRASS AND
MADE WOODEN SURFACES VERY SLIPPERY
Light rain on Saturday left 0.19 inch. Moisture left over during
last night resulted in fog and condensation which turned to frost
as temperatures fell from 38F at midnight to 28F by 7 a.m.
The frost covered the grass and wooden surfaces such and the roof
of the tower and the wooden step at the Hazen shelter were
extremely slippery and reason for caution when stepping on those
places up here at the summit.
