MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2022
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)
SUNRISE: 0649E
SUNSET:  1614E

MILD WITH INCREASING AND THICKENING CLOUD COVER….

Unlike yesterday, when we had 100% of the possible sunshine
for the day, today has featured very little sunshine as
clouds continue to increase and thicken as the day progresses.
Rain is expected to arrive later this afternoon into this
evening, which is much needed as the monthly and annual
precipitation deficits continue to grow. The month is now
1.88″ below normal, and for the year to date we’re 12.36″
below normal.

Temperatures are on the mild side, especially considering
the time of year. Readings have been slowly rising through
the 40s touching 50F degrees just before the 1pm observation.
Temperatures are destined to rise into the 50s through this
evening as warmer and more humid air briefly surge into the
region ahead of a cold front. The normal high for today’s
date is 46F.

The wind has been light so far today, but its expected to
increase as we get toward this evening. So far for the day
the average speed has been around 12mph.

Visibility has been great today despite the cloud cover.
Views have been between 70-80 miles all day.

The high so far today is 50F, which is 4 degrees above
the normal maximum of 46F. The low since midnight is 42F,
which is 12 degrees above the normal low of 30F.
