OVERCAST SKIES WITH MORNING RAIN MOVING OUT EARLY….

Yesterday’s rain system that moved through netted us a total of
0.14 inches of rain yesterday and 0.02 inches of rain for today.
As of 1pm today, we are -0.49 inches for the month and -3.34 inches
for the season in liquid precipitation.

Temperatures were just warm enough to bring all liquid precipitation
instead of snow or sleet in our area last night and this morning. Our
overnight low reached 32F before slowly warming to 41F by the early
afternoon hours. Even though we have recovered somewhat in temperatures
it still feels pretty raw out there, mostly due to the higher dew point
values and overcast conditions.

The wind has been relatively light today and out of the east changing
to a more ESE direction by late morning. The average wind speed so far
is about 8 mph with a peak gust of 23mph, which occurred just after 9am
this morning.

Visibility has been impacted due to fog and higher dew point values.
We have been holding at about 30 miles for the majority of the day.

The maximum temperature for today is 41F degrees, which is 8 degrees
below the normal high of 49F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 32F degrees, which is 1 degree above the normal low of 31F.
