ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA
SUNDAY, JUNE 21, 2020
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
HOT AND HAZY WITH CLOUDS INCREASING
INTO THE AFTERNOON….
Today we experienced abundant sunshine in
the morning, with skies becoming mostly
cloudy in the afternoon hours. Visibility
was 20 miles on average due to a
significant haze. However, visibility
opened up to 35 miles following the
1 P.M. observation. A distant cumulonimbus
cloud was seen to the northwest at the 10 P.M.
observation, later seen to be a thunderstorm near
Nashua, NH.
Great Blue Hill is officially in an abnormally
dry pattern. The on-going drought places us at
1.23 inches below the monthly normal, yet over
4 inches below the average for the year!
The high so far today is 89 degrees, this
is 12 degrees above the daily normal high
of 77F. The low since midnight is 68F,
which is 10 degrees above the daily normal
