GUSTY WINDS BRING WARM TEMPERATURES BEFORE THE ARRIVAL
OF THE COLD FRONT

High clouds filled the sky early but quickly gave way
as the sun warmed things up by the 10 o’clock observation.

Winds gusting into the upper 30s and lower 40s preceded
the arrival of a cold front.  The system associated with
this cold front left pressure readings around 976 millibars.

By the 1 o’clock observation, cumulus clouds began to fill in
with mostly cloudy conditions with winds sustained in the 20s.
Temperatures had begun to cool a little and conditions were dry
with humidities in the mid 40s.
