CLOUDS CONTINUE TO LINGER, 4TH CONSECUTIVE DAY WITH NO SUNSHINE…

Really starting to feel like a broken record, or perhaps we’re
experiencing Groundhog’s Day! Today now makes the 4th day in a
row in which no sunshine has been recorded (at least up to this
point). As a matter of fact, for the month to date, we’ve only
recorded 45.8 hours (23% of possible) of sunshine! In addition,
we have had 17 of the first 21 days of the month receiving
precipitation, 15 of which were measurable! If you recall, back
in the summer, we couldn’t even buy a raindrop. Mother Nature
always finds balance!

Temperatures have been slow to rise today, starting the day in
the mid 20s, finally reaching 30 degrees just before noon-time.
With no real wind to speak of, there is at least no issues with
wind chill today.

Speaking of wind, the average speed for the day has only been
around 7mph with a peak gust of only 19mph occurring before 9am.

The high so far today is 32F, occurring at midnight which is 2
degrees below the normal maximum of 34F. The low since midnight is
25F, which is 8 degrees above the normal minimum of 17F.
