DRY WEATHER TODAY WITH CONTINUED WARM TEMPERATURES

It was a pleasantly cool morning here at the summit, with a low temperature
of 62F.  Once again, however, temperatures have warmed into the 80s, with a
high so far of 85F.  The air has been drier today as well, with the dew point
mostly in the mid-50s.  Visibility has been good, as high as 75 miles this
morning but dropping off to around 60 miles this afternoon.  A light westerly
breeze this morning picked up a little into the afternoon as it turned towards
the southwest, gusting over 20mph at times.

A brief heavy rain shower moved over the summit yesterday afternoon, bringing
only 0.06 inches of rain, as our yearly deficit continues to grow, now
approaching four inches.
