COOLER AND CONTINUED DRY TODAY WITH CLOUDS AND
SHOWERS ADVANCING EASTWARD THIS AFTERNOON…

The coolest minimum temperature of the season so far of
50F was recorded this morning shortly after midnight.
There was partial sunshine this morning with scattered
low clouds, though middle level clouds began to fill the
sky by mid-day. Low clouds have become more dominant by
early afternoon.  Rain showers are moving eastward and
approaching central New England this afternoon. The high
temperature has been only 66F as of 2 PM EDT.

Only 0.30 inch of rainfall has been measured at BHO since
August 14th, which is 8 percent of the normal precipitation
over this 30 day period.
