occurred overnight. Visibility was 85 miles or more under
partly cloudy skies. The air is dry, reaching a relative

from the northwest has moved into the region, bringing
with dry and cold continental air. This has kept temperatures
well below seasonal averages. The high so far today is 37F,

of 35F. The low temperature today was just a few degrees
above the record low for the date of 17F set in 1971.
