SUN RETURNS TO GREAT BLUE HILL

More rain fell in the late afternoon yesterday. The storm gave us
a total of 1.10 ins. of rain. Blue Hill is currently measuring
1.09 ins. of precip. above normal for the month of May, and 3.35 ins.
above normal for 2017.

This morning, there were mostly cloudy skies covered mostly with
stratocumulus, but visibility stayed at 70 miles all day. The
temperature was at 53F at the 7:00 A.M. EST observation. The air
was very humid, with the relative humidity being at 93%. As the day
went on, the clouds began to move away and dissipate as the sun warmed
the air. The temperature warmed to a maximum of 65F by 1:00 P.M, and
relative humidity went down to 59%. Winds were very light, and they
shifted from NW in the morning to NE in the afternoon. A peak gust of
just 12 kts (14 MPH) out of the NE was measured at 11:49 A.M. Pressure
increased steadily today.
