FOGGY WITH VERY LIGHT RAINFALL TO START OFF THE NEW YEAR….

Visibility has stayed at a 1/16th mile all day today due
to fog. Very light rain has persisted, only leaving 0.02 inches
in the gauge by the 1 P.M. observation. Wind is southwesterly
at an average speed of 10 mph and a max gust of 23 mph.

December ended off almost 4 degrees above normal with a rainfall
deficit of -2.76 inches. December’s snow total is 1.7 inches,
giving us a deficit of -10.9 inches on the month and -12.4 inches
on the year.

This is interesting considering there was a lower than normal
amount of bright sunshine for the month of December.

The high so far today is 49F, which is 13 degrees above
the normal high of 36F. The low since midnight is 41F, which
is 20 degrees above the normal low of 21F.
