COLD START TO A CLEAR, DRY DAY…

With strong wind from the WNW yesterday
temperatures began dropping early just before
4:00 A.M. They continued to fall down to a low
minimum of 4 degrees overnight. The usual low
minimum is 17F, 4 degrees which is 13 degrees
below the normal. Temperatures began to warm
quickly and reached 24F by 1:00 PM. This is an
18 degree increase. Although Humidity was very
low today, wind from the south caused thin haze
which kept visibility at 70 miles all day.
Skies remained clear with only a few stratocumulus
in the morning and cirrostratus moving in the the
afternoon.
