CHILLY WITH INCREASING WIND AND A SNOW SHOWER IN THE
AFTERNOON….

Conditions are more seasonal today with cold temperatures
and a chilly westerly wind. Wind speed rose above 20 mph
with a max gust around 40 mph around noontime. Cloud cover
was negligible this morning, but skies became overcast right
after the 1 P.M. observation. This was followed up by some
very light snow showers at the summit.

Average visibility was 75 miles, with some obstruction from
the snow showers approaching from the west between 11 A.M. and
1 P.M.

The high so far today is 37F, a degree below the normal
high of 38F. The low since midnight is 15F, which is 5 degrees
below the normal minimum of 20F.
