A QUIET END TO JANUARY CONTINUES INTO THE NEW MONTH WITH
HIGH CLOUDS, LOW WIND AND FILTERED SUNSHINE FOR MOST OF
SATURDAY

An eventful January saw 33.1 inches of snow, making it the
10th snowiest January on record at Blue Hill. The uncorrected
average temperature for the month of January was 25.0 F,
0.5 degree cooler than the 30 year normal. Liquid precipitation,
including the liquid content of all frozen precipitation,
totaled 4.62 inches of water, 0.27 inches above the 30 year normal.
