PATTERN CONTINUES WITH EASTERLY WINDS AND COOLER
THAN NORMAL TEMPS

Yesterday, temperatures struggled and failed to climb out
of the 50s, with a maximum reading of 55F coming around
10:30 AM EST. Overnight temperatures dipped to a slightly
cooler than normal 46F. Temperatures are still running more
than 5 degrees below normal so far this month after the
warmest September on record.

Skies have been mostly cloudy today with peeks of sun
this morning. By the 1:00 PM EST observation clouds had thickened
to overcast stratus. A trace of drizzle had fallen during a
brief shower from 12:35 to 12:48 PM. A maximum of just 59F
had been reached by that time.
