MEASURABLE RAIN FINALLY RETURNS TO BLUE HILL,
0.85 INCHES FALL THROUGH 7:00 AM EST THIS MORNING

Rain showers, drizzle and heavier downpours came in fits
and starts since yesterday morning. From 7:00 AM yesterday
through 7:00 AM EST this morning, 0.85 inches of new rain
have fallen, taking a chunk out of our monthly precipitation
deficit, which is now just 0.37 inches drier than normal.
Our annual deficit has been reduced as well, though still at
5.13 inches below normal.

Fog and moderate drizzle this morning slowly gave way to peaks
over sunshine just after the 1:00 PM EST observation. An additional
0.06 inches of precipitation this morning have given a storm
total of 0.91 inches. A maximum temperature of 66F had been
recorded by that time as well.
