UNSETTLED WEATHER CONTINUES, GUSTY NE WINDS AND
OCCASIONAL RAIN THROUGHOUT SE MASSACHUSETTS

Rain showers and gusty NE winds have characterized most
of last evening and today, as winds gusted to 40 MPH from
the NE just after 1:00 AM EST this morning. By the 7:00 AM
EST observation 0.06 inches of new precipitation were recorded.

By the 10:00 AM EST observation steadier, but light rain had
added an additional 0.03 inches of new precipitation. And by
the 1:00 PM EST observation an additional 0.05 inches of new
rain fell with light rain still occurring at the station. Temperature
have only fluctuated between 47F and 48F during the past six hours.

September 2015 was the warmest September on record here at Blue
Hill Observatory. It also featured the slowest mean wind speed
on record, the warmest September average maximum temperature and
second warmest average minimum temperature. Details below:
