CLEAR, CALM DAY TODAY WITH TEMPERATURES CLOSER TO AVERAGE

Thanksgiving was a chilly day at Blue Hill this year, with a high temperature
of only 40F and a mean temperature for the day of 33F, six degrees below
normal.  Today, light SW winds are slowly advecting warmer air into the
region.  The temperature had risen up to 47F by 1:00 P.M., which would be
exactly normal for today’s date.  Skies have been mainly clear with just
a few high clouds and no precipitation in the area.  Visibility is running
a little lower than yesterday, around 50-60 miles.
