COOL WITH CONSIDERABLE CLOUDINESS…

We are experiencing temperatures in the mid-
to upper-60s. This is a large scale change from
earlier this week when we recorded our first
heat wave of 2021! Also of contrast are the dew
points. We observed very muggy conditions earlier
in the week thanks to values in the upper 60s and
low 70s. Today, we find them around 40F with
afternoon readings in the low-50s!

Average visibility is decent at around 65 miles.
Winds are notably light from the northeast under
a good deal of mid-level clouds.

On an interesting note, yesterday we finally squeezed
out our first blue square with a -3F departure! Monthly
departure, however, remains an impressive +8.7F!

The high so far today is 70F, which is 4 degrees
below the normal high of 74F. The low since midnight
is 51F, which is 5 degrees below the daily normal
low of 56F.
