CLOUDY SKIES AND INCREASING WINDS APPROACHING COLD FRONT

With the onset of another cold front, skies were mostly cloudy
today with cirrostratus and cumulus/altocumulus.  Yesterday’s winds
were extremely light, measuring an average of only 8.0 MPH from
the NW with a peak gust of 17 MPH WSW.  However, by 1:00PM EST,
speeds increased to 15-20 MPH, and wind direction shifted to be out
of the south.

It was another warm day with temperatures reaching a max. of 84F by
the 1:00PM EST observation but had started dropping shortly after
with the approaching front.
