ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)

PLENTY OF SUNSHINE, LIGHT WIND, AND DRY CONDITIONS TODAY….

This morning we started with scattered stratocumulus to our
north, east, and southeast as a weak low pressure system was
slowly moving out of the area. The system left us with a trace
of snow, still putting us below normal in liquid and snow
precipitation. The clouds moved out by mid morning and the sky
has featured mostly sunny skies with just a few clouds in the
vicinity.

Temperatures have rebounded to near seasonal today, thanks to
the sunshine and a bit of moisture in the air. As of our final
observation at 1pm, we have reached the normal high for today,
which is 34F. With continued sunshine and light winds, we might
improve on that as the day progresses.

Winds have continued to be on the lighter side today, with an
average wind speed of about 8mph. Winds have been mostly out of
the northwest for much of the day. Our peak gust of 17 mph
occurred just after 11am.

Visibility has been limited again today due to haziness, with
about 30-40 miles of visibility throughout the morning and
afternoon hours.

The maximum temperature for today is 34F degrees, which is equal
to the normal high of 34F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 16F degrees, which is 2 degrees below the normal low of 18F.
