SEASONABLE WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE….
Skies began the day clear, allowing for abundant sunshine. By late
morning, cirrus clouds began moving in from the west, and coverage has
increased with time. With seasonable temperatures and minimal wind,
it is a decent day weather-wise.
Temperatures this morning bottomed out in the low 20s, and have risen
into the low 40s by the early afternoon. The dew point has hovered between
the low to mid 20s.
Similarly to yesterday, winds have been extremely light as high pressure
remains in control. The average speed so far is only 6mph, now out of the
southwest. The peak gust is a paltry 12mph, occurring around 11:30am.
Visibility was limited for much of the morning by pollutants trapped
under the inversion. As this has mixed out, views now extend up to 60
miles.
The maximum temperature for today is 40F degrees, which is 3 degrees
above the normal high of 37F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 21F degrees, which is 1 degree below the normal low of 22F.
