OVERCAST AND CHILLY WITH SCATTERED VERY LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS….

After a sliver of sunshine around sunrise this morning, skies have
been overcast since. Some very light rain showers have also been
moving through during the mid morning hours into early this
afternoon. The showers have been very light, so they have not
amounted to anything more than a trace. As a matter of fact, they
haven’t even been enough to really wet the ground.

Temperatures continue to run below normal. With the cloudy skies
and rain in the air, it really is quite raw and chilly out there
today. Readings have only reached the low to mid 40s by early
this afternoon, which is nearly 15 degrees below normal levels.
Dew point values have been holding in the mid 30s all day, adding
a decisive chill to the air as well.

Winds have been fairly steady all day out of a southerly
direction. The average speed for the day so far is around 14mph.
The peak wind so far today is 31mph which occurred just before
10:30am this morning.

Visibility has been decent considering the conditions today. The
view has generally been between 30-40 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today is 44F degrees, which is
15 degrees below the normal high of 59F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 34F degrees, which is 7 degrees below the
normal low of 41F.
