COOLER AND BRISK WITH A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS….
The day started with clear skies, but stratocumulus clouds
quickly filled the sky during the morning hours giving us
a decorative mix of sun and clouds.
Temperatures are below normal today with readings only reaching
the upper 40s early this afternoon. Dew point values have been
holding in the mid 20s all day, so the air mass is decidedly
drier and colder than it was yesterday.
Winds have been busy all day out of the west-northwest. The
average speed for the day so far is around 17mph. Gusts have
been frequently exceeding 30mph throughout the day. The peak
gust so far is 46mph, which occurred just before 5am this
morning.
Visibility has been excellent all day with a view of around
70 miles!
The maximum temperature so far today is 49F degrees, which is
3 degrees below the normal high of 52F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 35F degrees, which is 1 degree above the normal
low of 34F.
