MAINLY SUNNY THIS MORNING, CLOUDS MOVING IN THIS AFTERNOON….

Today has been a decent day with plenty of sunshine this morning
save for a few mid level clouds that pushed through around sun
rise. However, high clouds are now pushing into the area early
this afternoon as our next weather system approaches the region.

Temperatures are running above normal today, as our January thaw
rolls on. Readings have reached the mid 40s by early this
afternoon, which feelS quite nice with the sun and gentle wind.
Dew point values have pushed into the 20s today.

The wind has been fairly steady out of the west-southwest today.
The average speed for the day so far is around 10mph. Occasionally
we’ll get gusts approaching 20mph, but overall the wind has been
fairly tolerable. The peak gust for the day so far is 20mph,
which occurred just before 11am this morning.

Visibility has been mediocre today due to haziness. The view has
been between 30-40 miles all day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 45F degrees, which is
10 grees above the normal high of 35F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 28F degrees, which is 10 degrees above the
normal low of 18F.
