EARLY FOG BURNS OFF TO MAINLY SUNNY SKIES; WARM AND HUMID CONDITIONS
RETURN….

We started the day in the clouds with visibility only around 1/16th
of a mile. The fog and low clouds quickly burned off and by mid
morning sunshine had taken over mixed with only a few cumulus and
cirrus clouds.

Temperatures have warmed into the mid to upper 80s, so we’re back to
being above normal after a couple of days of a reprieve. The dew point
has been in the mid to upper 60s all day, so it feels quite muggy out
there today as well.

Winds started the day on the light side, even going calm for a time.
However it has increased a bit by late morning and into early this
afternoon. The average speed for the day so far is around 8mph. The
peak gust so far is 24mph, which occurred just after 10:30am this
morning.

As mentioned, the visibility was quite limited to around 1/16th of a
mile early this morning due to the dense fog, but has improved quite
a bit to around 50-60 miles by late this morning and early this
afternoon.

The maximum temperature for today is 88F degrees, which is 8 degrees
above the normal high of 80F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 62F degrees, which is equal to the normal low of 62F.
