ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL EARLY SEPTEMBER WEATHER BEING OBSERVED….

High pressure is dominating our weather today giving us yet
another spectacular weather day. Plenty of bright sunshine
under clear skies has been the theme. Only a few diurnal cumulus
clouds have popped up early this afternoon.

Speaking of high pressure, the barometer reading is pretty high
for this early in the season. We’ve observed sea-level pressure
over 30.40 in/hg today, even nearing 30.50 in/hg late this
morning.

Temperatures are a bit warmer than yesterday, and close to
seasonal levels for the date. Readings have reached the upper 70s
early this afternoon. The dew point remains within very comfortable
levels with values in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

The wind has been mainly on the light side today, and rather
variable in direction as well. It has attempted to pick up a bit
in the last hour or so, but the overall average speed for the day
so far is only around 7mph. The peak gust thus far is 17mph, which
occurred during the 1pm observation period.

Visibility has been excellent once again today, holding at around
60-70 miles all day!

The maximum temperature so far today is 79F, which is 2 degrees
above the normal high of 77F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 56F, which is 3 degrees below the normal low of 59F.
