SUNNY SKIES AND DRY AIR WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES ….

The spectacular weather continues today with plenty of bright
sunshine under clear skies, save for a few clouds that have been
observed well off in the distance throughout the day.

Temperatures are a bit below normal for this time of year with
readings reaching the low 70s early this afternoon, after a
morning low of 49F. This was the first temperature below 50F since
May 31st, when the mercury dropped to 48F. Also of note are the
remarkably low dew point values for early September, which have
dropped into the low 40s today. Definitely nice dry fall-like air!

The wind has been a bit inconsistent, picking up at times, then
going light again. The average speed for the day so far is around
9mph. The peak gust thus far is 23mph, which occurred just before
10am.

Visibility has been excellent today, holding at around 70 miles
all day!

The maximum temperature so far today is 72F, which is 5 degrees
below the normal high of 77F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 49F, which is 11 degrees below the normal low of 60F.
