BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES WITH RAIN AND HUMID CONDITIONS…

Today started off similar to yesterday, however, the warm
temperatures did not return by the 10E observation as they
had yesterday. As of the 1pm observation, we are still slightly
below the normal temperature, mostly due to the rain and cloud
cover.

Temperatures were below average for most of the day, though with
the clearing of the stratus clouds and a bit of blue sky we have
seen a quick jump in temperatures at the 1pm observation. With the
dew points in the upper 60’s it feels very sticky, although the
wind is offering a bit of relief.

The wind has been very busy today, with an average speed so far of
around 14mph and winds mostly from the south. The peak gust today
so far occurred this morning before the 8am observation and was
around 36mph.

Visibility has remained between 40-50 miles for most of the day,
even with the rain showers in the late morning hours. The morning
sky had stratus and stratusfractus clouds with some cumulus making
a debut this afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 74F, this is 5 degrees
below the normal high of 79F. The minimum since midnight is 65F,
which is 4 degrees above the normal low of 61F.
