FOR AWHILE, BUT STILL BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURE-WISE…

Plenty of sunshine has been the theme today, which is quite the
feat considering how things have been the past several days.
Of course, today’s weather isn’t here to stay, as clouds and
eventually showers/thunderstorms will be in our future daily
starting tomorrow.

In the meantime, we shall enjoy the rest of today as temperatures
have reached the upper 60s to low 70s with dew points still in
the mid 50s. With a nice breeze off the ocean, it feels quite
nice to be outdoors.

The wind has been a bit busier today than in recent days, with
an average speed for the day of around 8mph, but the last couple
of hours has seen an average of closer to 11mph. Gusts so far
have been as high as 23mph!

Visibility has been decent most of the day. The view was limited
to around 40 miles early due to some thin fog, but quickly
improved to around 60 miles by late this morning.

The high temperature so far today is 71F, which is 7 degrees
below the normal maximum of 78F. The low since midnight is 53F,
this is 7 degrees below the normal minimum of 60F.
