FILTERED SUNSHINE WITH GRADUALLY INCREASING HIGH CLOUDS…
Finally a day with a decent amount of sunshine, albeit filtered
by increasing high cirrus clouds. After an abundance of cloudy
conditions this week, we’ll certainly take today’s weather.
Despite a light onshore wind, the temperature has still managed
to reach the 60 degree mark here on the hill. It’s just a
delightful day! However, this is the “calm before the storm” as
more clouds and rain are on the way for the weekend.
The wind has been light all day, mainly out of an easterly
direction. The average speed for the day is only around 8mph.
Visibility has been limited today with a view of only 10 miles
early this morning, gradually improving to 50 miles by early this
afternoon.
The high temperature so far today is 62F, which is equal to the
normal high of 62F. The low since midnight is 41F, this is 2
degrees below the normal low of 43F.
