OVERCAST START TO THE DAY, THEN A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS…

A thick layer of stratus clouds dominated the sky early this
morning before breaking up allowing for partial sunshine for
the balance of the day. Temperatures responded nicely to the
sunshine with readings reaching the upper 50s early this
afternoon. However, a sea-breeze took over by mid afternoon
causing the temperature to slip back into the lower 50s.

The wind has been on the light side today with an average
speed of around 7mph. The highest wind occurred just after
midnight with a peak gust of 21mph being measured. Otherwise
the wind has been 15mph or less most of the day.

Visibility has been decent all day with views of 50-60 miles
the theme.

The high temperature so far today is 58F degrees, which is
2 degrees below the normal high of 60F. The low since midnight
is 43F degrees, which is 2 degrees above the normal low of 41F.
