A SURPRISINGLY GORGEOUS DAY ATOP GREAT BLUE DAY….

Today started off overcast with a good visibility of 70 miles,
and just got better from there! Rainfall totaled 0.01 inches this
morning from a spot shower just after 6 A.M. Lower level clouds
went offshore as a really neat layer of cirrocumulus moved in.
Sunshine has been more abundant than perceived this morning
despite mostly cloudy skies.

Visibility was another significant feature, as we reached
90 miles by the 1 P.M. observation. Quite the day to be the
observer!

The low since midnight is 42F, definitely on the milder side as
the normal low is 27F. That’s a difference of 15 degrees. The
high so far today is 51F, 7 degrees above the normal high of 44F.
